Hampton Inn & Suites Shreveport/South

I have been staying at this property for i believe 2 years. I come here for work and to see my family. The customer service from every single employee makes this place amazing!!! It’s always clean. Breakfast is great, Ms. Sharon always is a great warm and welcoming smile to see. Monday the 15th was an absolutely horrible day. I was coming into town because my father is unfortunately on hospice and I got a call that he was declining quickly. So i pack a bag and jump in car to get to Shreveport ASAP (I live in chicago). It was one horrible thing after another and I was not able to make my reservation here because I had car issues and needed to change it. When I tell you Cassidy went above and beyond to help my family and I, that would be an understatement! She was a heaven sent angel. She literally either needs a raise, promotion, or stock in Hilton because she helped move my reservation etc. She was great. I was annoyed because I did ask at 9 PM to use the conference room to work and teach an online class. I did not want to do it in my room because i had family, and I did not want to use the breakfast area as to not bother anyone but Cassidy’s supervisor said, they would have to charge me full price. I did not need any special accommodations just a quiet place to teach for an hour. i just needed a table, chair, and light. So eventually Cassidy’s supervisor said, ‘no’. Which whatever, that’s the only down part of this trip. Other than that the staff is AMAZING, warm, kind, and hospitable. For that reason we have been staying here for a few years.

The front desk staff initially came across as somewhat abrupt, though their demeanor improved once it was clear that I was a guest. Additional customer-service training may be beneficial. This may also be influenced by the hotel’s location adjacent to an entertainment center, which likely results in higher foot traffic. Improved signage would be helpful, as the property is tucked away on the interior side of a bank and can be difficult to locate, with multiple roads leading into the area. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff serving it were friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

Super friendly people at the front desk. Walked outside at midnight and still felt safe. Clean rooms. Jacuzzi had an issue, but they sent someone up to fix it. I would stay again.

Allie checked me in on Saturday night, she was wonderful and made it super easy. Everyone had wonderful customer service. The breakfast staff was so sweet and so helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was awesome with a variety of foods and drinks to choose from. Customer service was top tier. The room was cozy and clean. I enjoyed my stay very much.

This is my favorite hamptons inn. I go there for work and they always take good care of me. my favorite part is i don't have to worry about my truck once Ive parked it.

Clean and easy to find location. Several nearby food options. The staff was so friendly and gave me two bottles of water when I arrived, and they had more bottles set up for breakfast which was really nice. A lot of hotels can be stingy with that and I really appreciated this.

Danielle is so helpful! She made sure we had the best stay possible. My only complaint about the hotel is that it has a very moldy odor throughout. I am not sure what could cause a hotel to smell like this but it cannot be good for the guests’ or employees’ health. Everything else was perfect but I had a hard time getting comfortable in the room because the odor caused me some difficulty with breathing. The service here was so awesome. I know it would be perfect if the mold or mildew is taken care of.

Hotel is a prime area for dining options and close to several major roads. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was average but what you'd expect. My only dislike was the way you enter the hotel from the street, not the best entrance, but that's just me. Would stay again if I ever visit the area in the future.
